Excellence Canada and Great-West Life introduce the new Mental Health @ Work Award recognizing organizations that promote good mental health

Excellence Canada (formerly National Quality Institute) and Great-West Life are pleased to announce a new Award under Excellence Canada’s Canada Awards for Excellence program.  This important Mental Health @ Work Award recognizes organizations with outstanding workplace strategies for improving mental health in the workplace.

Excellence Canada, along with a team of experts from across the country, has developed the Mental Health @ Work framework and criteria to assist organizations with planning and implementing mental health strategies at work and measuring improvement.

The Criteria are implemented in four levels in a step-by-step manner. Organizations with outstanding performance in addressing mental health issues in the workplace and who have accomplished Level 3 or 4 will be recognized through the Canada Awards for Excellence.
