This 1-day course will provide attendees with an overview of the Excellence, Innovation and Wellness Standard along with plans and tools to get started on your excellence journey successfully the first time.

Course Content

Upon completion of this course, you will understand: 

  • The requirements of the Excellence, Innovation and Wellness Standard, and its use as an overall strategic framework for excellence across the organization
  • The drivers of the Framework (Leadership and Governance; Strategy and Planning; Customer Experience; People Engagement; Process and Project Management; and Partners and Suppliers) that drive overall organizational performance
  • What it takes to drive and sustain long-term cultural change
  • The four levels of the Progressive Excellence Program® (PEP)
  • How to use PEP to confirm Strengths and address Opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Where your organizations stands against the Bronze level of the Standard
  • How to develop a business case for implementing the program and selling it
  • Plans and tools to help you get started on your excellence journey successfully, including sample plans and related metrics
  • How to identify and address implementation challenges
  • How to sustain your continuous improvement efforts



Who Should Attend

  • Management staff who are responsible for increasing the effectiveness of their work group
